About us

  My dad put me to work in just about every role he could think of over 20 years ago. With a father who spent more than 40 years in the automotive industry, I’ve essentially been a car guy my whole life, not just for the last three and a half decades. I started out in the detail bays, moved through the 9‑to‑9 sales grind, became a finance manager, and eventually made it to the director’s office, where I became one of the top business managers for multiple brands. Along the way, I earned top awards from JM&A, the compliance management company for the dealership where I spent much of my career. 


I’ve worked with everything from Fiats to Ferraris and other exotics, earning recognition from Honda, KIA, Hyundai, Chevy, Toyota, Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, and many more. 


What set me apart wasn’t just my performance—it was my philosophy. I saw plenty of greed in the business, so I built my career on giving people what they actually needed, not just what the dealership wanted to sell. I’ve always believed I could make a lot by helping a lot of people or make a little money helping only myself. I chose the first. It was a gamble, but it’s guided me every step of the way. 


Today, as The New Car Negotiator, I bring that same insider knowledge and client‑first mindset to every deal to ensure one thing—Checkmate.
